Orchid Alliance of Asian Americans

Orchid Alliance of Asian Americans is a 501c3 nonprofit organization founded in 2008 by Andrew Lan.

Our mission:

To document, study, preserve, and educate the general public in Asian American Culture.

Our planned activities include meeting with Asian American persons, speak to them about their culture in America. Document their responses in several ways including written notes, audio recordings, video recording, and photographs. Information collected which is of educational or historic value will be preserved and compiled for educational use by interested members of the public. The public may access this information on the internet or during periodic lectures arranged by Orchid Alliance of Asian Americans. Also planned are Community outreach to Asian American Elderly and disabled through volunteer events for the dual purpose of service and cultural learning exchange. Community outreach will enable participants to share their culture with others in a manner which is part of their real lives.
